Launchers in the Workspace

Launchers are TaskManSync workspace items, not Plasma’s pinned launchers or Favorites. TaskManSync does not import or synchronize Plasma’s pins. Moving a Launcher changes its position in the one shared Order, not Plasma’s pins or a separate Launcher list.

Regions can include one or more Launcher Regions. Each is an ordered placement opportunity for the Launcher category, not an identity for a particular Launcher or application. Unlike an Application Region, it does not match a Launcher to an application’s Task identity. The active layout can guide new Launchers’ placement; without a Launcher Region, it does not impose a Launcher position. Launchers are never assigned to an Unassigned Region.

An active layout does not continuously rearrange existing Launchers. Choose Arrange Now to apply it to the workspace; manual moves are not continuously corrected. Regions do not store Launcher-to-Region assignments or replace the shared Order. See the Regions guide for details.
