Task Order Synchronization

Within one Plasma session, every TaskManSync applet presents the same ordered workspace: Tasks (Plasma application-window entries), Launchers, Decorations, and hosted Widgets. Reorder an item in one applet and the other TaskManSync applets reflect its new position.

An applet’s orientation, available space, or presentation choices can change how that sequence looks, but do not create a separate order.

After Plasma restarts, Launchers, Decorations, and hosted Widgets retain their order. TaskManSync rebuilds Tasks from the current Plasma windows and restores their previous positions when it can identify them safely. A window it cannot match safely follows the normal placement rules for a new Task.
