Decorations and Regions
A Decoration Region identifies a Decoration definition as a placement opportunity in a Regions Layout. When the layout places it, the resulting Decoration is an ordinary workspace placement in the shared sequence; Regions do not create another order.
Repeated Decoration Regions can place a Static definition more than once. A Scripted definition permits only one active placement, so repeating its Region cannot create multiple active copies. Removing a placed Decoration leaves its Region opportunity available; deleting the definition removes its occurrences from saved layouts.
An Active Regions Layout can guide automatic placement of new matching items; Arrange Now applies a selected saved layout to the current workspace. For the complete Region model and controls, see Regions Overview and Regions Settings.
