Other Settings
Other Settings contains presentation preferences for the individual TaskManSync applet whose Settings page you opened. They do not change shared item order or membership. Different applet instances can use different task widths and alignment.
Current Taskbar Appearance

| Maximum task width | Narrow (default), Medium, Wide, Icons | Sets the preferred maximum width of horizontal Task items. Available space and overflow can make a Task narrower; this is not a fixed width. Vertical taskbars show Tasks as icons, so this choice does not change their width. |
| Taskbar alignment | Left (default), Center, Right | Aligns the complete visible TaskManSync flow, including Tasks, Launchers, Decorations, and hosted Widgets, within this applet’s available area. On a vertical taskbar, the choices align toward the top, center, or bottom. |
Alignment is relative to the TaskManSync applet’s own available area, not the full monitor or neighboring Plasma widgets. A Flexible Decoration can use the remaining space and leave no slack for alignment to move the flow, so changing alignment may appear to have no effect. Alignment changes presentation only; it does not reorder or separate items into lanes. See Decoration width.
Changing either control previews the choice while the Settings page is open. Use Plasma’s Apply or OK action to save it; canceling or closing without applying discards the preview and restores the saved value. These settings persist with this applet instance. They do not alter the application-wide Theme or Hiding choices.
Examples
Choose Export Examples… to copy the installed Plain Text, Scripted Decoration, and TDML examples into an examples folder in a destination you select.
